  • As a staff, we believe that children between the ages of six weeks and three years learn best in an informal setting. This conclusion is based upon much research by experts and through many years of experience.

 

  • We believe that a formal regime for children so young is counter-productive and serves as a frustration to both the child and the caregiver.

 

  • We believe that a child learns best when given experiences on a daily basis, in the course of routine, that has been developed by the staff and curriculum director.

 

  • We believe that it takes many experiences for a child to grasp a concept and master a skill. Therefore, we strive to supply your child with many experiences, taking into account the varied learning styles of each child in our care.

 

  • If a child shows a particular interest in any area we will do our best to nurture that interest. We will encourage your child to grow and reach new levels of exploration.

 

  • We spend a great deal of time reading to the children, providing them with tactile experiences (i.e. coloring, painting, water, bubbles), and helping them with social development. We feel the most important thing we can give your child is a feeling of being secure and the feeling that they are loved.
