K-4 Program at the "Little Red Schoolhouse"

• The progam is for 4 and 5 year olds

• 8:30 am to 11:30 am

• Lunch and snack are provided

• $150/mo. or $1500/yr.

• Immunization records & birth certificate are necessary

• Application documents are available at the school

• Students learn kindergarten readiness skills such as:  
  • number recognition
  • counting
  • shapes
  • alphabet recognition
  • alphabet sounds
  • socialization skills such as manners and sharing
  • independent and group work skills
    

• The facility includes:
  • kitchen/lunch area
  • bathroom
  • two classrooms and play areas
  • interest centers for guided and self-guided play

• The student/teacher ratio is 12 to 1 (DHS standard)

• It is a 2 star facility (DHS standard)
